Sovereign Energy is a consortium of Tribes and Native-owned entities dedicated to a singular mission: reclaiming energy independence. We share a deep commitment to preserving the cultural and environmental heritage of our communities while finally harnessing the vast, untapped energy resources available on our Tribal Lands.

Through this coalition, we act as a unified developer to build, deploy, and manage batches of residential solar energy systems. Once completed, these assets are transferred to Tribal ownership, allowing the Tribe to function as its own utility provider. This model ensures that the benefits—both environmental and financial—remain within our communities, with federal incentives and IRS reimbursements (up to 70%) flowing directly back to the Tribal entities.

We recognize that Tribal Housing Authorities, Energy Commissions, and administrative departments are already managing significant workloads. To ensure these complex energy projects are executed with precision and speed, Sovereign Energy has tapped the specialized expertise of ALT PV.

ALT PV serves as our dedicated project management and implementation arm. They provide the technical “heavy lifting”—from initial engineering and site assessments to navigating the complexities of federal “Direct Pay” reimbursements and long-term system maintenance.
